Inside Financial Sales - Assistant Vice President
Lightstone Securities, located in Northern New Jersey , is looking for a new team member to join our staff of experienced professionals to promote investment funds managed by the Lightstone Group, a well-established, highly successful, real estate company, to the broker-dealer community for both retail and institutional investors.  We seek a self-motivated individual who can work closely with a Regional Vice President to drive sales by creating and maintaining relationships with stockbrokers, planners and other financial advisors. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in sales and effectiveness working as a member of a team. Must be highly organized and willing to adapt to a fast pace environment.

 

Responsibilities:

* Manage and schedule sales activity while providing support and follow-up for an external partner.

* Market through making out-bound phone calls, emails and mailings to financial advisors to educate and promote sales.

* Field in-bound calls and provide supporting services while on sales desk.

* Travel and conduct presentations within assigned territories when appropriate.

 

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree

* Current Series 7 & 63 securities registration

* Minimum 2 - 5 years- full-time employment within financial services

* Proven selling and relationship building skills

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Goldmine

 

We are targeting experienced professionals within the financial field with brokerage experience (i.e. Independent; Wirehouse) that are motivated and team oriented.
